Cable Operative

Swindon

£13.00 per hour

We are currently recruiting for Cable Operatives to join our client's growing manufacturing team in Swindon. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with cable assembly or electronic wiring experience who are looking to develop their skills within a fast-paced production environment.

Cable Operative Roles and Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret from engineering drawings / build instructions
• Carrying out heat shrinking, crimping, terminating, and assembling cables to a high standard
• Using a range of hand and electrical tools, including screwdrivers
• Completing cable assemblies and sub-assemblies in line with production schedules
• Performing visual quality inspections throughout the assembly process

Cable Operative Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in cable assembly, cable harness manufacturing, or a similar production/assembly environment
• Practical experience with heat shrinking, crimping, and cable termination techniques
• The ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work

Cable Operative Working Hours:

• Monday Thursday, 08 30
• Fridays, 08 00
