Software Engineer - Generative AI Hub (Contract)
We are working with a major UK organisation building out its Generative AI Innovation Hub - a fast-paced, cross-functional team delivering short GenAI proof-of-concept projects that turn creative ideas into working prototypes.
We are looking for a Software Engineer who can work across the full stack and bring ideas to life alongside Product Managers, Machine Learning Engineers and Data Scientists. You will be part of a small, agile team delivering 4-6 week AI projects that explore the next generation of intelligent applications.

What You Will Be Doing

Build and deploy custom GenAI applications using modern cloud tech (public cloud platform, Python, CI/CD).
Own API development, database design, and infrastructure deployment using infrastructure automation tooling.
Collaborate with data science teams to integrate AI models and APIs (generative AI service, AI orchestration framework, large language model service, etc.).
Occasionally support lightweight front-end work (front-end framework/Python).
Work in agile sprints, joining daily stand-ups and planning sessions.
