Mechanical Technician
Location: Peterborough
Rate: £30 Umbrella (Inside IR35) or £22 PAYE
Duration: 12months (likely to extend)
We are looking for a Mechanical Technician to join the Test & Development Team of a global automotive company based in Peterborough. Technicians will provide hands-on expertise in build and machinery rig/de-rig activities to support new early-stage projects.
Mechanical Technicians will support assembly, strip, fault finding, and test prep for engines.
Requirements:
Engine build and disassembly experience
Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
Engine preparation and assembly experience.
Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering / Motor Vehicle (or equivalent)
