Roofer - Social Housing Contract

Location: Barnsley

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: 5 months initially, with potential to become permanent

Pay Rate: £20.27 per hour

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to join a busy social housing contract in Barnsley. This is a great opportunity for a skilled roofing professional to secure consistent work, with the possibility of a permanent position available following successful completion of the initial contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out roofing repairs and maintenance works across social housing properties, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities:

Carrying out roofing repairs and maintenance works

Completing repairs to roofing systems, including tiles and other roofing materials

Installing and repairing flashing

Carrying out fascia and soffit repairs and replacements

Working professionally within occupied social housing properties

Ensuring all work meets health and safety standards and customer expectationsRequirements:

NVQ in Roofing (essential)

Valid CSCS card (essential)

Previous experience within roofing repairs and maintenance

Experience working on social housing contracts is desirable

Strong knowledge of roofing repairs, flashing, fascia, and soffits

Good attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workmanshipWhat's on offer:
