Sub Agent – Major Civil Engineering Project

We are currently seeking an experienced Sub Agent to join a leading tier-one contractor delivering a major long-term infrastructure project in Suffolk.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Sub Agent with a strong background in structural civil engineering to play a key role in delivering a high-profile scheme.

The Role

Reporting to the Site Agent, you will be responsible for managing the safe and efficient delivery of structural works, ensuring projects are completed on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Managing the day-to-day delivery of structural and reinforced concrete works.

*

Leading Site Engineers and supervising subcontractors.

*

Planning and coordinating construction activities to meet programme requirements.

*

Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

*

Reviewing and approving RAMS, ITPs and temporary works where required.

*

Managing quality assurance processes and ensuring all project documentation is completed accurately.

*

Monitoring progress, identifying risks and implementing solutions to maintain programme.

*

Working closely with the commercial and project management teams to control costs and maximise productivity.

Requirements

*

Previous experience as a Sub Agent on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

*

Strong background delivering structural and reinforced concrete works.

*

Excellent understanding of QA/QC processes and engineering standards.

*

Experience managing Site Engineers and subcontractors.

*

Strong knowledge of NEC contracts is desirable.

*

CSCS Card and SMSTS essential.

*

HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
