The organisation is recruiting for an public cloud platform/Cloud Data Architect to join our team a permanent basis.
This role will be mainly remote but require flexibility to travel to client sites, and our offices based in the organisation, Sheffield, and Bristol.
Requirements
Hands-on experience with public cloud platform-native security tools:
cloud security platform, cloud policy service, cloud firewall service, Sentinel, Key Vault

Responsibilities
Design and implement secure public cloud platform cloud architectures with a focus on data services and infrastructure.
Architect and manage security the organisation including:
public cloud platform Defender, security monitoring platform, data governance platform
secrets management service, identity management service (identity management service), RBAC
NSGs, firewalls, private endpoints
Define and implement cloud security strategies, policies, and patterns.
Create and maintain technical documentation, including runbooks and reference architectures.
Integrate security practices into CI/CD pipelines (DevSecOps) using development delivery platform.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable data solutions.
Strong understanding of:
Identity and access management (e.g., identity management service/identity management service, OAuth, SAML, MFA)
Network security and segmentation in public cloud platform
Infrastructure as code (IaC): infrastructure automation tooling, infrastructure automation tooling, or infrastructure automation templates
Experience with data integration service (required).
Knowledge of identity management service configuration (preferred).
Familiarity with SSIS is a plus.
This role will require you to have or be willing to go through Security Clearance. As part of the onboarding process candidates will be asked to complete a Baseline Personnel Security Standard; details of the evidence required to apply may be found on the government website Gov. UK. If you are unable to meet this and any associated criteria, then your employment may be delayed, or rejected. Details of this will be discussed with you at interview.
