About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our growing team supporting the development of an intelligent digital platform in collaboration with Network Rail. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge system as we scale, enhance functionality, and integrate new modules for deployment.
You will be joining a small, agile team of talented developers who are passionate about creating innovative, high-performance solutions. The role is primarily remote, offering flexibility and autonomy while working on meaningful, large-scale infrastructure technology.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications from concept through to deployment
Build responsive and performant user interfaces using front-end framework
Develop robust server-side applications and the organisation using server-side runtime
Design and optimise relational database database schemas and queries
Implement and maintain Firebase services, including authentication, real-time database, and serverless cloud service
Manage and deploy applications across cloud infrastructure platforms
Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests

Essential Skills and Experience
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
Extensive experience with front-end framework, including modern hooks and state management
Solid server-side runtime expertise, with experience building RESTful the organisation
Strong understanding of relational database database design and query optimisation
Hands-on experience with Firebase services and ecosystem
Proven experience managing cloud infrastructure (e.g. public cloud platform, public cloud platform, or public cloud platform)
Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Vitest, front-end framework Testing Library, or similar)
Familiarity with containerisation platform and container orchestration platform for containerisation and orchestration
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
Proficient with version control system version control
Experience with monitoring and logging tools
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and communication abilities
A collaborative mindset and willingness to work in a small, focused team
