Primary Teaching Assistant - KS1 / KS2

• Salary: £95 per day
• Contract: Full-time

Join a supportive primary school in Devon as a Primary Teaching Assistant, where you will have the opportunity to support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping young children excel in their foundational years of education.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Support pupils with literacy and numeracy to enhance their learning outcomes.
• Assist in the delivery of lessons and educational activities, ensuring all pupils are engaged.
• Encourage pupil engagement and confidence through positive reinforcement and support.
• Provide constructive feedback to the class teacher regarding pupil progress and areas needing attention.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a school or childcare setting is desirable, demonstrating a capability to support educational activities.
• A patient and adaptable approach to different learning needs and classroom environments.
• A strong passion for working with young children, aiming to make a positive impact on their educational journey.
• Knowledge of phonics.
