SEN Teaching Assistant

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs (SEN) across various classroom settings.
• Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Facilitate inclusive learning practices that cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to promote students' educational and social development.
• Utilise effective communication strategies to support students' understanding and engagement.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience supporting children with SEN, or a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach to student interactions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively collaborate with educational staff and caregivers.
• A genuine passion for helping children succeed and reach their full potential.
