Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant West London Full-Time September Start Long-Term £90-£110 per day (depending on experience)

A high-performing secondary school in West London is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join its successful Maths department this September. This is an excellent opportunity for a Maths Graduate who is passionate about education and wants to make a real difference while gaining hands-on experience in the classroom.

Working as a Teaching Assistant, you will support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them build confidence and achieve their full potential in Mathematics. This role is ideal for a Maths Graduate considering a future in teaching, educational psychology, or another education-based career.

The Role - Teaching Assistant

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver one-to-one and small group intervention sessions.
• Assist students with classwork, homework, and exam preparation.
• Work alongside experienced Maths teachers to raise attainment.
• Help create an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
• Support classroom management and student behaviour where required.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• A degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong numeracy and problem-solving abilities.
• A positive, proactive, and patient approach.
• Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
