Job Description
A highly driven IT Programme Manager is needed to join our team. Under the direction of a Senior IT Project Manager, the IT Programme Manager will be in charge of supporting the planning, carrying out, and wrapping up of IT projects. Excellent communication and organisational abilities, one to two years of project management experience, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively are all requirements for the perfect applicant. It is advantageous to be familiar with the PMI project management procedures. This is a hybrid position that combines both in-person and remote work in Warwick.
Experience:
IT project management: 1 year (preferred)
Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, the organisation, or a similar discipline
One to two years of experience managing IT projects.
Experience working in an IT setting in a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere.
Outstanding time-management and organising abilities.
Proficiency with project management software is a plus.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical material to stakeholders who are not technical.
The capacity to prioritise tasks and operate autonomously in an IT project management environment.
It is advantageous to have knowledge of the PMI project management procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £43,000 - £50,000 per year
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the creation of IT project budgets, schedules, and plans.
Guarantee that IT project deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget, collaborate closely with team members.
Track the development of IT projects, spot any problems, and create risk-reduction strategies.
Ensure that the documentation for IT projects is correct, current, and comprehensive.
Inform project stakeholders, including IT teams and business stakeholders, with the status, risks, and problems of the IT project.
Work together with teammates to pinpoint areas where IT project management procedures need to be improved.
Take part in team meetings and help create best practices for IT project management.
Perform other tasks as needed.
