Site Engineer
Roads & Highways Project | Inverness
40 hours per week | Monday to Friday
Future Build Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering contractor for an experienced Site Engineer to join a roads and highways infrastructure project near Inverness.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role on a high-profile civils scheme, supporting the successful delivery of earthworks and structural packages.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out setting out and surveying activities across the project.
* Support the delivery of earthworks and structural works in line with the programme.
* Ensure works are completed in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications and quality standards.
* Maintain accurate site records, quality documentation and as-built records.
* Liaise with the site management team, subcontractors and the wider project team to ensure efficient project delivery.
* Promote and maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance on site.
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects.
* Strong background delivering earthworks and structural packages.
* Highways or infrastructure project experience
* Proficient in the use of surveying and setting out equipment, including GPS and total stations.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* CSCS card and relevant engineering qualifications (HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering or similar)
