PE Teacher

Location: Cardiff

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-Time | Monday to Friday | 8:15am - 3:00pm

Duration: Full Academic Year | Potential to Become Permanent

Pay: £172.98 - £200 per day (dependent on experience)

Empowering Learning are currently supporting a secondary school in Cardiff who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed QTS PE Teacher to join their department from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated PE specialist to inspire students through engaging practical and theoretical lessons. The successful candidate will become part of a supportive school environment and play a key role in encouraging students' confidence, teamwork and enjoyment of physical education.

The Role:

You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality PE lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring students are challenged, supported and motivated to achieve their best.

The role will involve creating a positive learning environment, promoting participation and helping students develop both their sporting skills and personal development.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Experience teaching PE across KS3 and KS4.

Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

A passion for sport and inspiring young people.

The ability to deliver engaging lessons to students of all abilities.

Excellent communication skills and a positive approach.

Requirements:

Enhanced DBS Certificate registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Two professional references from recent employers.

The right to work in the UK.

What We Offer:

Competitive daily pay of £172.98 - £200 per day, depending on experience.
