About the Role
An ambitious and supportive secondary school is seeking a passionate and committed Teacher of Science to join its successful department on a full-time fixed-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for either an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or an experienced classroom practitioner to inspire young people and deliver high-quality Science education.
Applications are welcomed from both Early Career Teachers and experienced Science teachers. Candidates with a specialism in Physics or Chemistry are particularly encouraged to apply; however, this is preferred and not an essential requirement.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, promoting excellent progress and fostering a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stages.

Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress.

Promote high expectations for behaviour, effort and achievement.

Support pupils academic, social and emotional development.

The Ideal Candidate

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

Have strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
