Panel Wirer
Location: Wrexham
Pay Rate: 25.00 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary

gap technical are recruiting for an experienced Panel Wirer to join a leading manufacturing business based in Wrexham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrical professional with experience in control panel wiring and assembly.
Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Wire and assemble electrical control panels to specification.
• Install and terminate wiring looms.
• Carry out crimping using both hand-operated and battery-powered crimping tools.
• Work with a wide range of cable types and sizes, from 0.5mm to 120mm
• Install electrical control panels and associated equipment.
• Install and connect circuit breakers ranging from 100A to 2000A.
• Complete Current Transformer (CT) wiring.
• Install PLC controllers and Automatic Voltage Regulators (AVRs).
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.
• Follow engineering drawings and company procedures throughout the build process.

Qualifications & Experience

• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds Level 3, or an equivalent qualification in Electrical Installation or Electrical Engineering is preferred.
• Apprentice-trained candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Previous experience as a Panel Wirer or Electrical Fitter within a manufacturing or industrial environment is essential.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Strong knowledge of control panel wiring, AC/DC circuits, and industrial electrical systems.
