Responsibilities

• Safely unload containers using appropriate equipment, including forklifts and manual handling techniques
• Assist in the organisation and storage of incoming goods within the warehouse
• Operate warehouse management systems to record inventory movements accurately
• Handle materials with care, ensuring items are moved without damage
• Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to health and safety standards
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate shipping and receiving activities
• Maintain a clean and organised work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Conduct routine checks on equipment such as forklifts and report any mechanical issues promptly

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in shipping & receiving or materials handling roles
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is beneficial for accurate inventory control
• Good organisational skills with an eye for detail to ensure accurate unloading and storage processes
• Physical fitness to handle long periods of standing and manual material handling tasks
• Strong teamwork ethic with excellent communication skills
