Site Operative - Devon (EX5)

RG Setsquare is currently recruiting for a Site Operative to join a busy team working on essential projects across the Devon area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is physically fit, and is looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential for a permanent position.

Job Details

Location: Devon (EX5)

Start Date: ASAP

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, typically 1:00/2:00 PM - 9:00 PM (some flexibility required)

Company Vehicle: Transit tipper provided. Start and finish each day on site, with the option to take the vehicle home.Key Responsibilities

Setting out traffic management equipment, including "No Parking" cones ahead of scheduled works

Collecting and transporting signs, barriers, and cones from work sites

Assisting site teams with general labouring duties, including backfilling when required

Carrying and moving site equipment, involving regular manual handling and heavy lifting

Supporting the team to ensure work is completed safely and efficientlyRequirements

Full UK Driving Licence

Ability to carry out physically demanding work

Towing experience is desirable

Streetworks qualification is advantageous, although training can be provided

No CSCS card requiredPay & Benefits

Competitive hourly rate

Saturday overtime paid at 1.5x

Sunday overtime paid at 2x

Hours worked after 9:00 PM paid at 1.5x

Regular weekend overtime available

Company vehicle provided
