Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a part-time, inspirational, and experienced Primary Teaching Assistant. If you have a background in childcare or looking for work in education but have no previous experience and are looking for an exciting opportunity to dedicate yourself to education and can drive or if you're considering a return to teaching this could be the perfect role for you. If you re ready for a new challenge and have experience working with children, we want to hear from you. While experience in a school setting is preferred, it is not essential.

The Role:
At this school, both children and teachers have high expectations of one another. The ideal candidate will possess strong behaviour management skills and a compassionate demeanour. You should be passionate about delivering excellent teaching and learning experiences, and be committed to ensuring that every child has the chance to learn and flourish. This school features an exceptional, inspiring curriculum that not only promotes independent learning skills but also prepares children for life and unlocks the potential in all learners.

Requirements:

The desired Primary Teaching Assistant will:

  • Have Confidence to support deliverance the Read, Write, Inc Phonics scheme
  • Driving license
  • Have flexibility, reliability and adaptability
  • Have recent experience supporting children aged 5-11
  • Have a good understanding of how children learn and develop
  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Ideally Have previous experience of working with children or young people; ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting within the last 2 years and we must be able to obtain valid references from these roles

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.
