We are Hiring: Asset and Configuration Manager
Location: Birmingham or Shoreham (Hybrid)
Salary: Up to £86,000depending on experience

Join our team as an Asset and Configuration Manager and help us optimise how we manage the IT infrastructure for our Enterprise clients.

What You Will Bring

Strong Understanding of ITIL (v4 preferred)
Deep familiarity with the Service Configuration Management and IT Asset Management (ITAM) practices.
Understanding of how CMDBs (Configuration Management Databases) support incident, problem, change, and release management.
Practical Experience Establishing or Overhauling CMDB / IT Asset Management system.
You can distinguish between CI (Configuration Item) types, relationships, and levels of control.
Tooling Expertise: Experience with IT service management platform, or similar.
Comfortable integrating asset/configuration tools with discovery systems, CI/CD pipelines, and ITSM tools.

What You will Do

Define and build this capability from the ground up
Own the lifecycle of IT assets-from procurement to disposal
Maintain and manage the CMDB (IT service management platform)
Ensure compliance with software licensing
Collaborate across ITIL practices (Service Desk, Change, Problem Management)
Provide reports and insights on asset utilisation and cost optimisation
Identify automation opportunities for real-time tracking
