Enterprise Architect - AI - Government

This role will help shape next-generation digital interactions between citizens and government, exploring how emerging AI and data the organisation can improve access to public services. The Enterprise Architect will define and prototype new service models and ensure they are scalable, secure and aligned to government digital standards.

Essential Skills:

Proven Enterprise or Senior Technical Architect experience within large, complex government departments.
Strong knowledge of service architecture, interoperability and modular design.
Experience designing cloud-native and API-based environments in public cloud platform
Exposure to AI, data science or automation initiatives.
Ability to work in fast-paced discovery and prototyping environments.
Active SC clearance (or eligibility).

Desirable:

Understanding of LLM / agentic-AI architectures and related assurance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the enterprise architecture and service topology design for the AI-enabled programme.
Map existing service components and identify opportunities for new AI-driven interaction patterns.
Work with technical architects, designers and data specialists to prototype and validate new service models.
Produce clear architectural artefacts, principles and roadmaps for reuse across programmes.
