TeacherActive is working with a number of welcoming SEND and mainstream schools across Sheffield, looking to recruit compassionate SEND Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September.

The role:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND.

Support children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH and a range of additional needs.

Build positive relationships that help pupils feel safe, confident and engaged.

Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver tailored support.

Encourage independence while promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being.

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience supporting children with SEND in a school or care setting.

Is calm, patient and able to build strong relationships with pupils.

Has excellent communication and behaviour management skills.

Holds a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).

Is committed to helping every child succeed.
