Daily Rate: £145 - £206 per day (dependent on experience)

Contract Type: Rolling Contract

Clarence Recruitment is delighted to be working with a welcoming secondary school in Rugby, Warwickshire to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Religious Education (RE) for a rolling contract starting in the new academic term.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate RE specialist to join a supportive Humanities department and inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4. The school is seeking a teacher who can deliver engaging, thought-provoking lessons that encourage students to explore different beliefs, cultures, ethical issues and world views while developing critical thinking and respectful discussion.

Applications are welcomed from both experienced RE Teachers and ambitious Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

The Role

The successful candidate will:

Deliver engaging and challenging Religious Education lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Inspire students through creative, inclusive and thought-provoking teaching.

Foster curiosity, debate and respect for different beliefs and perspectives.

Monitor progress and provide high-quality feedback to support student achievement.

Maintain high standards of behaviour, attainment and classroom engagement.

Contribute to curriculum planning and the wider Humanities department.

Play an active role in supporting the wider life of the school community.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a Teacher of Religious Education who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.

Has strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for Religious Education.

Can motivate and engage students of all abilities.

Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Maintains high expectations of student progress and behaviour.

Is committed to continuous professional development.

Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team.
