Job Description

Our client is currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer on a contract basis in the West Midlands.

The key details are below:

Job Type: Contract (OUTSIDE of IR35)

Rate: £35-£40

Location: West Midlands - hybrid (2 to 3 days a week on site)

Duration: 6 months initial

ASAP start

Requirements:

Proven experience with Solidworks & 3DX

Experience of battery pack & module design

Very experienced in the design of metal components and ideally with parts for 3D printing

Must be able to obtain BPSS security clearance and be willing to work on defence programmes
