Gateman – Construction Site | Sittingbourne

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent

Start Date: ASAP

Rate: Competitive (DOE)

Duration: Long-term work

Skilled Careers are currently recruiting for an experienced Gateman to join a busy construction site in Sittingbourne. This is a long-term opportunity for a reliable and professional individual who is confident managing site access and directing traffic in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Controlling access to and from the construction site

Directing deliveries and site traffic safely and efficiently

Banking vehicles entering and leaving the site

Checking visitors and deliveries in and out

Maintaining accurate site access records

Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed

Liaising with the site management team to keep traffic flowing safely

Requirements:

Valid CSCS Card

Previous experience working as a Gateman or Traffic Marshal on a construction site

Traffic Marshal/Vehicle Banksman qualification preferred

Full PPE

Good communication skills

Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

References available upon request
