Long-Term Primary Teaching Opportunities - September 2026

Empowering Learning Manchester is working with a number of highly regarded primary schools across Stockport, Tameside and Oldham who are seeking talented Primary Teachers for long-term teaching positions beginning in September.

These roles range from one-term contracts through to full academic year placements, with many leading to permanent positions.

The Role

You will:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons.

Assess, monitor and support pupil progress.

Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment.

Work collaboratively with senior leaders and support staff.

Contribute to the wider life of the school.

We are looking for

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Strong curriculum knowledge

Excellent behaviour management

Passion for raising standards

Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
