We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Temporary Chef to work in a busy hotel in Ashford. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef looking for flexible work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking high-quality meals in line with hotel standards.
• Assisting with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and function service as required.
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
• Supporting the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Ensuring stock is handled correctly and minimising waste.
• Keeping the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with food safety regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a chef in a hotel, restaurant, or similar hospitality environment.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Knowledge of food hygiene procedures.
• A positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred).
• Own chef whites and knives are desirable.
