Job title: Product Repair Technician
Job type: Temporary (sick cover)
Location: Biggleswade
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
Hourly rate: £12.71 per hour

Our well-known Biggleswade based client is looking for a practical and hands-on Product Repair Technician to join their technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys understanding how products work, diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs. Working within a modern workshop environment, you'll inspect, service and repair returned products, helping to ensure they meet high quality standards before being returned to customers.

Main duties as a Product Repair Technician:
- Inspect, diagnose and repair returned products.
- Carry out servicing and preventative maintenance work.
- Identify faults and implement effective repair solutions.
- Complete repair documentation and technical reports accurately.
- Maintain photographic records of repairs and completed work.
- Process returned products and update internal records.
- Support stock control, inventory checks and workshop housekeeping.

Skills, Experience & Background Required:
- Confident using hand tools and carrying out practical repair work.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in a technical, mechanical, assembly, manufacturing or repair environment is advantageous.
- Keen interest in mechanics, DIY, vehicle maintenance, bicycles or hands-on projects.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Organised, reliable and able to maintain accurate records.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn and good basic IT and written communication skills.
