Teaching Assistant - Primary & SEN Schools East Kent
Locations: Canterbury, Folkestone, Dover, Thanet & Ashford

Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant looking for flexible opportunities across East Kent? We are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support a variety of our client Primary and SEN schools across Canterbury, Folkestone, Dover, Thanet and Ashford.

We have a range of opportunities available, including flexible day-to-day supply work and longer-term placements, allowing you to find a role that suits your experience, availability and career goals.

Whether you are an experienced Teaching Assistant, an SEN specialist, or someone looking to gain further experience within education, we would love to hear from you.

The role:

• Supporting pupils across Primary and SEN settings
• Providing 1:1 and small group support where required
• Assisting with learning activities and adapting support to meet individual needs
• Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASC, SEMH, ADHD, SLCN and complex needs
• Working closely with teachers and wider school staff to create a positive learning environment

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or within an education setting (desirable)
• Have experience supporting children with SEN (desirable)
• Are passionate about helping children reach their full potential
• Are reliable, flexible and adaptable
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one
• Are able to travel across East Kent (a driving licence is desirable but not essential)
