The Supply Register is proud to work in partnership with NCG South London Colleges to recruit passionate and knowledgeable Further Education Lecturers across a wide range of curriculum areas.

We're inviting expressions of interest from qualified lecturers and industry professionals looking for flexible teaching opportunities across Southwark College, Lewisham College, and the NCG Higher Education Centre at Harbour Exchange.

We are recruiting lecturers across a variety of subject areas, with opportunities becoming available throughout the academic year based on curriculum demand.

As a Further Education Lecturer, you'll play a vital role in delivering engaging, high-quality teaching that inspires learners to achieve their full potential.

Depending on your subject specialism and experience, you will:

• Deliver engaging and inclusive teaching across your specialist subject area.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that meet curriculum requirements.
• Support learners to achieve their academic, personal, and career goals.
• Monitor learner progress, assess work, and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
• Differentiate teaching to support learners with varying abilities and additional learning needs.
• Work collaboratively with curriculum teams to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

We're keen to hear from:

• Experienced Further or Higher Education Lecturers.
• Qualified teachers looking for flexible teaching opportunities.
• Industry professionals with strong subject expertise who are interested in teaching within Further Education.

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent), or relevant teaching experience where appropriate.
• A relevant degree, professional qualification, or substantial industry experience within your specialist subject.
• Experience teaching within Further Education, Higher Education, schools, or delivering vocational training.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills.
• A flexible, professional, and learner-focused approach.

• Previous experience within the Further Education sector.
• Experience delivering GCSE, Functional Skills, vocational qualifications, or Higher Education programmes.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
