Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ventilation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across various sites. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of schematics and equipment repair, with experience in construction and maintenance environments highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair a wide range of air conditioning units and systems in commercial and industrial settings
Diagnose faults using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
Lead maintenance operations, ensuring safety standards are adhered to during all activities
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate
Perform system upgrades and modifications as required to improve efficiency and performance
Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or refurbishments
Maintain detailed records of work performed, including repairs, replacements, and system modifications
Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior team members when necessary
CSCS
Proven experience in air conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair
Strong mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems and components
Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams accurately
Leadership qualities with experience supervising or mentoring team members preferred

Skills in equipment repair with a focus on air conditioning units
Knowledge of construction processes related to HVAC installation projects
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Relevant the organisation or certifications in HVAC or mechanical the organisation is advantageous
