Job Description

Talentmark are recruiting for a QC Microbiology Technician to join a global healthcare provider to hospitals, clinics and homes on a contract basis for 11 months. This role is based at the client's site in Swindon. 

Salary:

£13.58 per hour PAYE.

Shift

This role is days only, (Apply online only), but is on a rotating shift including weekends. 

QC Microbiology Technician Role:

Test the microbiological properties of materials and products.

Collect Environmental monitoring and water samples.

Update the batch tracker with Microbiology testing dates.

Keep environmental monitoring tracking spreadsheets up to date, including trending data and transcription checking.

Provide technical support to Scientist 2 and Senior Scientist, including technician duties when required. 

Your Background:

Hold a relevant scientific qualification or have working experience in a lab.

Good knowledge of microbiology and testing techniques.

Have an understanding of GMP/GLP environments.

Ability to work weekends.
