Pay Rate: £16.13 per hour

Pin Point Recruitment is currently recruiting Drivers Mates on behalf of a well-established company based in Tilbury. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable, customer-focused individuals looking for immediate work with a leading logistics team.

The Role

As a Drivers Mate, you will work alongside the delivery driver to ensure the safe delivery, installation, and demonstration of household appliances, including white goods, televisions, and cookers, in customers' homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the safe delivery, installation, and demonstration of goods, TVs, and cookers.
• Provide excellent customer service, keeping customers informed throughout the delivery process.
• Maintain regular communication with the depot regarding delivery updates, changes, or any issues that arise.
• Accurately use the handheld device (Savvy) to complete deliveries and obtain customer signatures.
• Liaise with manufacturers at the point of delivery when required.
• Handle all products safely and carefully, following manual handling and health & safety procedures.
• Support your driver and colleagues to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Maintain up-to-date training and follow company best practices at all times.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am 7:00pm
• Weekend working is required on a rota basis.
• Flexibility is essential, as finish times may vary depending on workload.
