Job Title: NVQ Level 6 Site Manager – Solar Farm Project

Location: Berkeley, Gloucestershire

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 3 Months+

Employment Type: Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced NVQ Level 6 Site Manager to join a busy solar farm project based in Berkeley, Gloucestershire. This is an immediate start with a minimum contract duration of 3 months, with the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Manage subcontractors and site personnel.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures.

Coordinate site activities and maintain project programmes.

Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and inductions.

Liaise with the client, engineers, and project management team.

Maintain accurate site records and reporting.Requirements

NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management (Essential)

Valid SMSTS

Valid CSCS Black Card

First Aid at Work

Previous experience managing solar farm, renewable energy, or large civil engineering projects is desierable

Strong leadership and communication skills.
