Technical Group Leader - (phone number removed) - £33.99/hr umbrella rate (Inside IR35)

What You Will Do:

● Act as the final technical arbitrator for your chosen zone, delivering engineering solutions that meet functional and attribute targets.

● Lead Group functional integration within the zone to reduce complexity and deliver efficient, scalable technical outcomes.

● Drive zonal technical data progression across CAD, DV, AIMS, Build, Test and Releasing, coordinating squads and interfacing chapter leads.

● Oversee alignment and delivery of Minimum Viable Product through virtual and physical verification and validation across the programme lifecycle.

● Lead cross-squad and cross-zone technical problem resolution, ensuring timely escalation via the obstacle process when required.

● Support study and Agile spike activities to solve complex engineering problems and maintain forward momentum.

What You Will Bring:

● Automotive technical knowledge with the ability to interrogate and ratify technical standards, system assumptions and detailed design decisions.

● Proven experience analysing complex interactions within vehicle, system or component environments, coupled with confident decision-making.

● Strong written and verbal technical communication, with influencing and negotiation capability across stakeholders.

● Experience leading teams to solve challenging engineering issues using structured methods such as 8D and/or Six Sigma.

● A customer-first mindset, resilience under pressure, and a genuine interest in new ideas and industry developments.
