Job Description

A high‑growth consumer brand with an international footprint is seeking a Financial Accountant on an interim basis for 6 months to play a pivotal role in their process improvement plans and system development and in the lead up to their year end audit. 

The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening financial controls, enhancing the accuracy of financial records, and supporting the implementation of improvements within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The Role

The Financial Accountant will:

Conduct a comprehensive review and cleanse of the Fixed Asset Register

Implement and optimise the Fixed Asset module within the ERP system

Assist with the ongoing integration of web transactions into the ERP system, helping to streamline financial reporting and improve automation

Investigate and resolve existing balance sheet reconciliation issues relating to key accounts

Lead the setup and configuration of new legal entities (Inc. and Holding Company) within the existing ERP system

Support the implementation of the annual budget within the ERP system

Assist with wider finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvement projects

About You

Professional qualification (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)

Proven experience implementing or improving ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

Extensive fixed asset accounting knowledge

Strong understanding of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.

Based in Southampton and offering hybrid working.
