Experienced senior finance professional (likely ACA/CIMA qualified) with a strong track record in high-growth, private equity or venture-backed tech businesses.
Proven exposure to M&A, ideally within a buy-and-build environment - comfortable owning the full deal cycle from modelling to integration.
Operated at VP / No.1 level in a scaling business - comfortable being both strategic and hands-on.
Strong commercial acumen, analytical thinking and the ability to challenge and influence at C-suite and board level.
Experience implementing finance systems and building finance infrastructure from an early stage.
Thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; resilient, energetic, and execution-focused.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Finance Leadership: Serve as a trusted adviser to the CEO and Board, providing insight and challenge across strategic planning, commercial decision-making and capital allocation.
Team Build-Out: Establish and scale the internal finance function from scratch. Hire and develop a high-performing finance team capable of supporting growth through scale.
M&A Execution: Lead financial due diligence, deal execution and post-deal integration across a growing pipeline of acquisitions. Work closely with the PE sponsor and external advisors.
Reporting and Controls: Develop robust financial systems, reporting processes, KPIs and board-level dashboards to support real-time decision-making.
Operational Finance: Own budgeting, forecasting, cash management and long-range planning. Implement scalable systems and controls suitable for a multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction group.
Investor Relations: Manage the relationship with the Private Equity sponsor, ensuring clear and consistent reporting, transparency and strategic alignment.

A fast-scaling, Private Equity-backed technology company is seeking a commercially astute Vice President of Finance to join as the first in-house finance hire. Recently funded and with significant capital available for M&A, the business is entering its next phase of rapid growth and consolidation.
Founded just two years ago, the company has already achieved $50m in ARR and completed six strategic acquisitions. With an ambitious target to scale to $300m+ ARR over the next 3-5 years, they are embarking on a dynamic buy-and-build journey across Europe and North America.
This is a pivotal leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO and acting as a key partner to the executive team and Board. The incoming VP Finance will own all aspects of finance, help shape strategic direction, and play a central role in building the operational backbone needed to scale.
