Smile Education are proud to be partnering with a welcoming and community-focused primary school in Essington, seeking a committed Year 1/2 Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This full-time, long-term role offers the chance to make a genuine difference every single day. 

As a Year 1/2 Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and accessible lessons

Provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups

Help create a positive, fun and stimulating learning environment

Encourage independence, confidence and a love of learning

Assist with classroom management, resources and displays

Promote the school’s values and contribute to the wider school communityWe’re looking for someone who is:

Enthusiastic, reliable and passionate about working with young children

Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

Confident supporting early literacy and numeracy

Patient, nurturing and proactive in the classroom

Experienced in a similar role OR eager to learn and grow in a supportive schoolRelevant qualifications (such as Level 2/Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning or Childcare)
