Class 2 Driver – Coventry

Contract: 12-Week Temp to Perm

Pay: £17.00 per hour (Temporary) | £19.22 per hour (Permanent)

Empowered Personnel is recruiting experienced Class 2 (Category C) Drivers on behalf of a well-established client based in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent role after a successful 12-week temporary period with competitive pay, regular work and excellent earning potential.

The Role:

As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering palletised goods to retail stores using a manual Class 2 vehicle.

Your duties will include:

- Driving a manual Class 2 (Category C) vehicle

- Delivering palletised goods to retail stores

- Completing an average of 4–6 drops per day

- Handballing goods where required

- Using a pump truck to assist with deliveries

- Working shifts of approximately 10–12 hours

- Start times between 4:00am and 6:00am

- Completing approximately 3–4 nights out per month (£25 night out allowance)

Pay & Benefits:

- Temporary (First 12 Weeks) - £17.00 per hour. Estimated annual earnings: £44,200–£53,040

- Permanent - £19.22 per hour. Estimated annual earnings: £49,972–£59,966

Requirements:

- A valid Class 2 (Category C) Driving Licence

- A valid Driver CPC

- A valid Digital Tachograph Card

- At least 2 years' Class 2 driving experience

- No more than 6 penalty points
