Sign Language Support - Primary School, Sutton

Are you an experienced TA with experience of sign language support?

SANZA Teaching Agency is working with a fantastic primary school on the borders of Croydon and Sutton, and we're actively seeking a talented TA to support deaf children or children with hearing impairments.

About the role:

Sign Language Support position based at a primary school in Sutton

Full time Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4pm

Ongoing positions starting in September and throughout the school year

Supporting deaf and hard-of-hearing pupils, communicating and interpreting

Well-resourced classrooms with strong, collaborative staff teams

Backed by supportive and experienced Senior Leadership Teams (SLT)

What you'll need:

Ideally qualified in some form of sign language (BSL or Makaton)

Experience supporting deaf or hard-of-hearing pupils, ideally in a primary setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to the needs of individual pupils

A positive, proactive and professional approach
