Industrial Electricians Required (3 Positions)

Location: Blackburn
Rate: 30.00 per hour
Start Date: Monday 27th July 2026
Duration: 3 Weeks
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
Overtime: Weekend work may be available at enhanced rates.

LG Project Consultancy is currently recruiting for 3x experienced Industrial Electricians to work on a new build electrical substation project in Blackburn.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established electrical contractor delivering a brand-new substation installation. As the site is currently not energised, you'll be carrying out first and second fix industrial electrical installation works within a safe construction environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Installation of LED lighting systems.
• Installation of 75mm x 75mm galvanised box trunking.
• Small power installations.
• Installation and termination of dehumidifier units.
• Installation of cages and bulkhead lighting.
• Containment installation and associated electrical works.
• Reading and working from electrical drawings and specifications.
• Ensuring all installations are completed to a high standard and in accordance with current regulations.
• Maintaining a safe working environment and complying with site health & safety procedures.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Valid JIB Gold Card or ECS Gold Card.
• Proven experience working as an Industrial Electrician.
• Previous experience on substations, power, industrial or heavy commercial projects is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Own hand tools and full PPE.
• Strong understanding of industrial electrical installations.
