• Delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

• Planning, preparing and marking lessons in line with the national curriculum

• Creating an engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity and critical thinking

• Assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback

• Contributing to the wider school community and departmental planning

• Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent UK teaching qualification

• Strong subject knowledge in any biology would be desirable

• A proven track record of successful classroom teaching and pupil progress

• Excellent classroom management and communication skills

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one)
