Ground Worker

We are seeking dedicated Groundworkers for rail projects in Exeter.

Responsibilities:

Excavate and prepare sites for construction, ensuring compliance with safety regulations
Install drainage systems and other underground utilities as required
Assist in the laying of foundations and other groundwork tasks
Operate machinery and tools safely and effectively
Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met
Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times

Qualifications:

Previous experience in groundwork or a related field, preferably through an internship
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in construction
Valid PTS Sentinel card
CSCS or CPCS qualification
Ability to operate relevant machinery and tools
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions

The contract will be for approximately 3 months beginning near the end of August, and will be Mon-Fri on days 07:00 - 17:00
