Location: Huddersfield
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am 4:45pm (37-hour week)
Pay: £14.00 £15.00 per hour (depending on experience)

A well-established engineering and manufacturing company based in Huddersfield is looking to recruit an experienced MIG Welder to join its growing production team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a permanent role with the added benefit of a 4-day working week, giving you every Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. • Carry out MIG welding on mild steel components to a high standard.
• Work from engineering drawings and production specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble steel components where required.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Operate welding and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Follow all health and safety procedures.
• Work as part of a production team to meet daily manufacturing targets.

• Previous experience as a MIG Welder within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Flexible to work overtime when required.

• £14.00 £15.00 per hour, depending on experience.
• Monday to Thursday working pattern enjoy a 3-day weekend every week.
• No Friday working as standard, giving you more time for family, hobbies or simply to relax.
