Job Description

These roles can be shaped around the requirements of the candidates and can be as flexible as being a term time position and around school hours.
We have 4 rooms ranging from 3 months-5 years. All our rooms deliver educationally planned activities, following the children’s current interests that promotes all 7 areas of learning and development of the EYFS. We are continuously supporting children on their journey to become their own advocate and develop their independence. This is done through imaginative play, having a self-care station in the rooms and adults modelling the skills needed.

Duties and responsibilities:
• To create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children
• To engage in play, learning activities and the personal care of children as directed by the room leader
• To contribute to the planning and implementation of exciting learning opportunities for the children
• To maintain a productive and stimulating environment within the nursery
• To work as a team to observe and identify what the children in your care need to do next on their developmental journey
• To interact in a professional and positive manner with other staff and parents
• To be flexible and cooperative, working across a range of rooms and ages
• To share responsibility for the welfare of all children in your designated room, following systems to ensure consistent, high-quality care
• To work flexibly as part of the larger team, assisting and supporting colleagues wherever required
