Year 10 1:1 Tutor - Poole

Attention all education professionals!

Prospero Teaching is currently looking for a talented and dedicated Year 10 1:1 Tutor to support a student in Poole (BH15).

As a 1:1 Tutor, you will provide personalised academic support to help a Year 10 student build confidence, improve attainment, and prepare for their GCSEs. Sessions will be tailored to the student's individual needs, with flexible hours available each week. You will also complete brief weekly feedback reports, tracking the student's progress, achievements, and areas for development.

• Location: Poole (BH15)
• Position: Year 10 1:1 Tutor
• Subject: English, Maths and/or Science (depending on experience)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing
• Contract Type: Part-time
• Pay Rate: 25- 30 per hour
• Hours: Flexible

The following are desirable but not essential:

• QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Experience teaching or tutoring Year 10/GCSE students
• Experience working within a UK educational setting
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (within the last 12 months)

• Have the Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
• Provide two professional references relating to work with children
• Have at least one year's experience working within an educational setting
