This part-time opportunity is ideal for an educator seeking flexibility without compromising on classroom impact. Paid pro-rata on the Main Pay Scale (MPS M1-M3), the position offers the chance to lead an engaging Key Stage 1 class.

Key Responsibilities for the Key Stage 1 Teacher:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality, child-centred lessons aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Support early reading, phonics, and numeracy progression in a highly collaborative environment.
• Foster high expectations and a positive classroom culture in an inclusive primary school in Chester.
• Work alongside dedicated teaching assistants and staff to raise pupil attainment and progress.

What We Are Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience as a Key Stage 1 teacher.
• Strong interpersonal skills, enthusiasm, and a commitment to child-centred learning.
• A proactive dedication to your own professional development and ongoing education and training.
• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to process a new one through Academics).
