Job Title: Crisis Children's Support Worker

Location: Truro / Falmouth, Cornwall

Pay: £14.00 to £20.00 per hour (Weekly Pay plus Holiday Pay)

Randstad Care is launching our core regional workforce across the Truro and Falmouth hub. We are seeking robust support staff to step into specialised Tailored Localised Care placements, assisting children and young adults with severe communication deficits, profound learning disabilities, and active trauma backgrounds.

This role would perfectly suit individuals who have previously worked as a Residential Care Worker, Support Worker, Youth Worker, Mental Health Assistant, Custody Worker, or Family Support Worker.

• Foster Independence: Assist young people with sensory stimulation, communication tracking, and personal care routines.
• Maintain Safety: Manage physical and verbal aggression calmly, preserving the dignity of the young person at all times.
• Report Effectively: Keep professional, detailed records in perfect compliance with statutory regulatory frameworks.

• Track Record: At least 6 months of paid experience working within the UK care or youth support sectors.
• Attributes: High levels of emotional intelligence, clear communication skills, and unwavering focus on safeguarding standards.
• Mobility: Valid UK driving licence and a reliable vehicle to safely commute to various residential services across the mid west region.
