Job Title: Complex Support Worker

When a young person in Bristol experiences a sudden crisis, their world is completely disrupted. They do not need someone simply supervising a shift; they require a calm, steady anchor to help them navigate a difficult day.

We are looking for dedicated care specialists to join our intensive team supporting vulnerable children in the Broadmead area. You will be stepping into high pressure environments, managing complex trauma, and actively building trust when it is needed most.

This opportunity is well suited to individuals who have previously worked as a Youth Mentor, Therapeutic Support Worker, Family Support Worker, Key Worker, or Residential Childcare Worker.

• Establish Rapport: Build strong bonds with vulnerable youth using creative, trauma informed care methods.
• Maintain Safety: Utilise verbal de escalation skills to manage physical aggression or self harm calmly and professionally.
• Be the Voice: Write detailed daily reports to help shape ongoing therapeutic care plans.

• Experience: Minimum 6 months of paid UK care experience within a youth or residential care setting.
• Resilience: A non judgemental, highly patient approach to managing complex behaviours.
• Mobility: A full UK driving licence is highly desirable to help young people access community activities.
