Class 1 Driver
Class 1 Tramper Drivers Wanted – Preston, Lancashire
Aspion Recruitment is urgently seeking experienced Class 1 Tramper Drivers for an ongoing opportunity with a well-established local haulier based in Preston, Lancashire.
The Role:
General haulage using curtain-sided trailers
No handball involved
2–4 nights out per week
Deliveries and collections across the UK
No multi-drop work
Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday shifts available
8-hour minimum pay guarantee
Pay & Benefits:
£17.37 per hour (Monday–Friday)
Enhanced weekend rate: £20.00 per hour
£26.00 night-out allowance
Snap account provided
This is a long-term, ongoing opportunity, with work available for at least the remainder of 2026.
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years' Class 1 (HGV Class 1/C+E) driving experience
No more than 6 endorsement points on your licence
