Painter & Decorator

Location: Bournemouth and surrounding areas 

Salary: £150 - £180 Per day (Depending on Experience)

Hours: Projects dependant 

Contract: Contract

Tru Talent is delighted to be working with a well-established and growing property maintenance and refurbishment company based in Bournemouth, who are looking for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join their friendly team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and reliable Painter & Decorator who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship.

Working across a variety of residential and commercial projects, you will be responsible for completing decorating works to a high standard while maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities of the Painter & Decorator:

Preparing surfaces for painting, including sanding, filling and priming

Applying paint, varnish, wallpaper and other finishes to a high standard

Carrying out both internal and external decorating works

Ensuring all work is completed efficiently whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail

Protecting furniture, fixtures and surrounding areas before commencing work

Carrying out minor repair work to walls, ceilings and woodwork where required

Maintaining tools, equipment and materials in good working order

Working independently or as part of a team across multiple sites

Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times

Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional appearance on site

What we're looking for from the Painter and Decorator:

Previous experience as a Painter & Decorator within residential or commercial environments

A high standard of workmanship with excellent attention to detail

Good knowledge of painting techniques, preparation methods and decorating materials

Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively

Strong communication and customer service skills

A positive, reliable and hardworking attitude

Full UK driving licence preferred

CSCS card desirable but not essential
